DJ Hindustan Zinc, Madras Aluminium Seek 2.25M Tons Coal In Tender

NEW DELHI, Dec 02, 2009 (Dow Jones Commodities News via Comtex) -- VDNRF | Quote | Chart | News | PowerRating -- India's Hindustan Zinc Ltd. (500188.BY) and Madras Aluminium Co. -- both units of Vedanta Resources PLC (VED.LN) -- said Wednesday they are seeking a total of 2.25 million metric tons of bituminous and sub-bituminous coal in a global tender. The tender stipulates annual delivery of coal of 750,000 tons from January 2010 to December 2012.
