BHUBANESWAR, India, Dec 22 (Reuters) - India's state-run National Aluminium Co Ltd (NALCO) issued a tender on Tuesday to sell 2,500 tonnes of aluminium ingots, a source in the company said. Bids have to be submitted by Jan. 5, and the metal will be shipped in two batches of 1,250 tonnes in January and February, the source said. NALCO last sold 8,750 tonnes of primary aluminium ingots at $82.25 a tonne premium over the average LME cash price on a CIF basis to UK-based Steeple Industries earlier this month, the same source had said. Late on Monday, NALCO issued a tender for the export of 30,000 tonnes of alumina, with bids due in by Jan. 6, the company's website showed. NALCO last sold alumina in early December at $318.23 a tonne on an FOB basis, the source had said. (Reporting by Jatindra Dash; Editing by John Mair)
