UDAIPUR (Commodity Online): Vedanta Group’s Hindustan Zinc Limited (HZL), already world’s second largest Integrated Producer of Zinc-Lead with metal production capacity of 754,000 TPA is further expanding its metal production capacity to over 1 million tonne by mid-2010. This will make HZL world’s Largest Integrated Zinc-Lead Producer. To make this functional, the mines and the captive power generation are also under expansion. To improve the recovery of Silver in Lead concentrate from Ore, the company is looking for internationally reputed organizations and experts in Metallurgical / Mineral Processing & Technology Development to investigate, study, propose and execute the process of recovery of silver.
