India's NALCO sells alumina at $347.85/T-co source

BHUBANESWAR, India, Jan 07 (Reuters) - India's state-run National Aluminium Co Ltd (NALCO) (NALU.BO) sold 30,000 tonnes of alumina for $347.85 a tonne free on board, a company source said on Thursday. The alumina, to be shipped by the end of this month, was purchased by Switzerland-based Alaska Metals, the source said. The tenders of NALCO, which serve as an international benchmark, last sold alumina at $318.23 per tonne in the first week of December.
