Reuters reported that India's state run National Aluminium Co Ltd has issued a tender to export 4,500 tonnes of aluminium ingots last week.
Bids have to be submitted by February 8th 2010.
The metal will be shipped in three lots of 1,500 tonnes each from March.
NALCO, whose tenders serve as an international benchmark, last sold 6,000 tonnes of aluminium ingots to Swiss trading firm Glencore on January 19th 2010 at USD 82 per tonne premium over the average LME cash price on cost and freight basis.
