NALCO Q3 profit declines by 29pct YoY

National Aluminium Company reported a steep drop in standalone net profit for the quarter ended December 2009.

During the quarter, the profit of the company declined by 29.29% to INR 1,551.80 million from INR 2,194.60 million in the same quarter previous year.

Net sales for the quarter for the quarter rose 36.51% to INR 13,864.70 million, while total income for the quarter rose 28.28% to NR 14,482.10 million, when compared with the prior year period.
