NEW DELHI: Aluminium futures prices traded lower by paise 30 to Rs 111.30 per kg in futures trading today due to reduced offtake by speculators following fall in demand in the spot market.

At the Multi Commodity Exchange counter, aluminium for February-month delivery shed 30 paise to Rs 111.30 per kg, with an open interest of single lot.

Similarly, the base-metal for delivery in January traded lower by paise 20, or 0.18 per cent, to Rs 110.15 per kg, with a business turnover of six lots.

Market analysts said subdued demand in the spot market, helped aluminium prices to trade lower in futures market.
