Venezuelan Guayana's Corporation CEO Daniel Machado and senior managers of Japanese multinational Marubeni discussed some proposals aimed at improving relations in the areas of aluminum, iron, steel and hydroelectricity.

Marubeni representatives expressed interest in taking part in the projects to widen up the sixth line of CVG Venalum, build Tocoma powerhouse, enlarge a pellets plant at CVG FMO and build a powerhouse in eastern Sucre state. The Japanese are eager to provide funding and cutting-edge technology.
Also, they are willing to renew the agreements on supply of raw materials by CVG Venalum and CVG Ferrominera Orinoco, and even made a request to increase the amount of the materials.
