Vedanta seen selling India Foils

UK-listed Indian metals group Vedanta is preparing to sell its India Foils business, according to Indian media reports. India Foils, bought from the BM Khaitan group in 2000, accounts for a fifth of the Indian foil market. The company has officially declined to comment - as is usual - but the reports suggest Vedanta is keen to focus on its up stream production operations.
