Japan Asahi Shimbun said recently that Japan Fair Trading Commission said it is worry about the case that BHP want to purchase Rio Tinto, and it has get to make probably investigation with Europe and Australia. BHP, the world's biggest mining group, made public its plan on November 8 to take over third-ranking Rio and forge a mega-mining group with a market capitalisation of around $350 billion (175 million pounds). A tie-up would assemble a massive controlling force across a range of industrial-use commodities such as copper, aluminium, iron ore and coal -- raw materials driving growth in emerging nations such as China and India.
