Japanese Ambassador visits Alba

Aluminium Bahrain (Alba)'s role in boosting commercial ties with industries in Japan was discussed during a visit of the Japanese Ambassador to Alba on Wednesday, July 22, 2009. 'We discussed ways in which Alba could contribute towards boosting commercial and technological co-operation with industrial bodies in Japan. And also, praised the strong relationship that already exists between the two countries,' said Mr. Al Noami. His Excellency the Japanese Ambassador expressed his appreciation at the positive impact Alba has made on the economic, industrial and community life in Bahrain. Alba has been consistently ranked as one of the largest aluminium smelters in the world and is known for its technological strength, environmentally friendly and innovative policies. It supports numerous community oriented programmes and social activities that have underlined its status as one of Bahrain's leading industrial organizations that remains fully committed to its corporate social responsibility.
