Outotec wins alumina calciner order from Brazil's CBA worth over 40 mln eur

HELSINKI - Outotec said it has won a contract to supply an alumina calcination plant to Companhia Brasileira de Aluminio S.A. (CBA). The deal is worth over 40 mln eur, Outotec said. The plant is due to start up in June 2009 and will have a daily alumina capacity of 1,600 tonnes.
