Oman Oil Signed a diesel oil supplying agreement with Sohar Aluminium

Oman Oil declared it has signed an eleven year diesel oil supplying agreement with Sohar Aluminium. Sohar Aluminium is exploring a 350,000 ton annual output smelter in Persia country. Abu Dhabi Water & Electricity Company each has 40% shares; Rio Tinto Alcan owned 20% of the left shares. This smelter will adopt Rio Tinto Alcan’s AP 35 technology. The agreement is mainly on the operating of the equipment of this smelter and the backup support. It is expect this smelter will put into production in 2008.
