ABB won EMAL aluminum smelter supply contract

Swiss electronic & Gas Company—ABB won EMAL’s $30m smelter supply contract. This transaction has firstly fixed in third quarter in 2007. The smelter plan to build in AL Taweelah, besides Abu Dhabi, the initial production capacity will be 700thousand ton and reach to 1.4 m ton when all the construction work completed. This project is sign that Abu Dhabi enters international aluminum industry. ABB business covers more than 100 countries in the world, has more than 110 thousand workers, and also one of Fortune 500, its energy and automatic technology is the leader in the world.
