Hydro Warned Strike By Labor Union

Norwegian aluminum producer Hydro Aluminum received early warning from the largest labor union in Norway, saying they will start a strike on April 2nd, which will influence its three smelters’s production. 'It is still too early to evaluate the effect by the strike’, said Hydro. The company, with more than 2,300 employees, has an annual primary aluminum capacity of 900,000 tons.
