Dubal Profits Rose 24% in 2007

Profits of Dubai Aluminium Company (Dubal) last year rose 24% to Dh1.9 billion, compared to 20%of Dh1.4bn a year ago. Sales were Dh9.4bn in comparison with Dh8.8bn in 2006. It is reported that Dubal has completed the five-B production line at a cost of Dh256m, adding 32 new smelting cells; the Dh478m six-B production line has been on track with 40 new smelting cells. Currently, Dubal is getting ready for new projects, comprising the Emirates Aluminium smelter in Al Tawila area of Abu Dhabi. COPYRIGHT All rights reserved.
