EMAL’s Al Taweelah smelter project starts potroom operation

Board members of EMAL were on-site at Al Taweelah, Abu Dhabi as the smelter’s critical part—potroom was put into concrete work. The smelter, applying UAE’s developing technique, is expected to produce 700,000 tons of primary aluminum a year in the first phase. Vice president of EMAL and CEO of Dubai Aluminium Abdulla Kalban, board member of EMAL and COO of Mubadala Waleed Al Mokarrab Al Muhairi also attended the ceremony on invitation.
