Egypt Aluminium Q1 net up 0.8 pct

CAIRO, Nov 11 (Reuters) - Egypt Aluminium EGAL.CA, the country's largest aluminium producer, made net profit of 227.3 million Egyptian pounds ($41.1 million) in the first quarter to September quarter, 0.8 percent more than in the same period of 2007, the stock exchange said on Tuesday. The Egyptian state owns more than 90 percent of Egypt Aluminium and has no immediate plans to reduce its stake. ($1 = 5.5250 Egyptian pounds)
