New aluminium plant to open in Iran

Iran's largest aluminium plant, Hormozal, is scheduled to be opened in the southern city of Bandar Abbas next week, Mehr News has reported. The plant has an annual capacity of 147,000 tonnes and will produce 47% of the aluminium in Iran. Bandar Abbas Province will be the aluminium hub of the country when this project comes on stream.
