Unwrought aluminum stocks 1 million tonne in Jan - IAI

Reuters reported that Western world unwrought aluminum stocks rose to 1.468 million tonnes at the end of January 2011 compared with a revised figure of 1.395 million tonnes in December 2010.

International Aluminum Institute showed that unwrought stocks stood at 1.266 million tonnes in January 2010. Total aluminium smelter stocks excluding finished end products rose to 2.595 million tonnes at the end of January 2011, versus a revised 2.515 million in December 2010 and 2.295 million tonnes in January 2010.
