Iran to export aluminum products to Tajikistan

　　Far News reported that Iran plans to export large volumes of aluminum products to Tajikistan by the next 20 months.

　　The agreement to export aluminum products to Tajikistan was signed by Head of Tajik trade delegation and managing director of Iran's Alumina Company.

　　Based on the MoU signed between the two sides, Iran's Alumina Company will export 100,000 tonnes of alumina powder and 100,000 tonnes of aluminum hydrates within 20 months to Tajikistan. The total value of the MoU is estimated to be USD 80 million. The Alumina Company's products will be exported via railway to Tajikistan.

　　Iran and Tajikistan have recently accelerated expansion of their ties and cooperation and observers believe that the good achievements gained in area of their mutual cooperation should be deemed as a result of the efforts made by the two countries' officials.

　　Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad in a meeting with his Tajik counterpart Emomali Rakhmon in Dushanbe in March reiterated that there is no limitation in Iran's foreign policy for boosting cooperation with Tajikistan.
