Ellwood Aluminum successfully makes first test casts

　　Ellwood Group, a US Pennsylvania-based corporation, launched Ellwood Aluminum in 2018 which cost US$72 million to add an aluminum cast house next to its castings facility.

　　Ellwood Aluminum successfully produced its first test casts earlier this month to prove its capability starting from a 14-inch diameter round aluminum rods with more than 26.5 feet long.

　　However, there were still some hurdles for them to clear before they really can spin off the full-scale production, which was qualifying products' tooling and customer certification.
