Russia exported 90,400 tonnes or $1.697 billion in aluminum in the first quarter of 2007, the Federal Customs Service (FCS) said.
Nickel exports came to 57,600 tonnes ($2.159 billion) and refined copper exports to 78,800 tonnes ($430.3 million).
Nearly all the exports were to non-CIS countries. The average price of aluminum exported to the non-CIS rose 20% year-on-year and the average price of exported nickel soared 150%.
