UC RUSAL appoints director of raw materials (non alumina) division

Russian giant aluminium producer UC RUSAL announced the appointment of Sergey Otroschenko as Director of the Raw Materials Division. As such he is charged with providing all raw materials, with the exception of alumina, to the company's smelters. His responsibilities will include searching for new growth opportunities at the Raw Materials Division, including both acquisition and the construction of assets, the company said. Before joining UC RUSAL Otroschenko was CEO at the ESTAR trading house and before that he was deputy general director at Russian steel company Evrazholding.
