Rusal May Buy Cathode Plant in China

This was announced by Chief Manager of Shanxi Rusal Cathode Co Grigoriy Goryachikh. Shanxi Rusal is conducting talks with several cathode plants in the north of China. At the beginning of April last year Rusal bought a cathode plant in Shanxi Province. Its capacity is 15 thousand tons of cathode blocks per annum. Rusal's annual need in cathode blocks is about 45 thousand tons.
