UC RUSAL postpones London share float -Vekselberg

SOCHI, Russia, Sept 21 - United Company RUSAL, the world's largest primary aluminium producer, has abandoned plans to list shares in London this year, non-executive chairman Viktor Vekselberg said on Friday. Vekselberg, a large minority shareholder in UC RUSAL, told reporters the IPO would not take place this year. Banking sources had earlier told Reuters the company had shelved the IPO plan due to market turmoil and liquidity worries.
