RUSAL Plan to Purchase 25% Shares of Norilsk Nickel Company

News from Moscow, Nov. 24—RUSAL said in a statement that it has signed agreement with Onexim invest corporation—to purchase 25% shares of Norilsk Nickel company. According to the statement of Onexim and RUSAL, this deal was permitted by Norilsk Nickel company. Mikhail Proknorov said in last month it plan to purchase 25% of Norilsk Nickel company’s shares by 15.7 billion US dollars. According to the agreement, RUSAL own 25% of Norilsk Nickel company’s shares and Onexim own 11%. Executive of RUSAL said: “this strategic deal make a way for RUSAL’s diversification development.”
