RUSAL Purchase Part of Norilsk Nickel’s Shares

News from RUSAL said in order to become a Diversified Mine and Energy Corporation, it has signed agreement with Prokhorov’s Onexim invest corporation to purchase 25% shares of its subsidiary metal company—Norilsk. Rusal and Prokhorov are two main stockholders of Norilsk. After the deal, Prokhorov’s Onexim will takes 11% of Rusal’s share and become a stockholder of Rusal. There is no detailed information of this deal. Mikhail Proknorov said in last month they plan tobuy 25% share of Norilisk Nickel Company. Prokhorov’s Oxenim Invest Corporation was set up in 2007. It is a private enterprise, has more thab 25billion dollars assets.
