UC Rusal To Buy Norilsk Share By Apr, Analysts Doubt

Moscow, March 31--United Company Rusal projected to buy part of Norilsk Nickle shares by the end of April, said the company on Monday. ‘The deal will complete within a month, as specified in our agreement.’ A spokesman from UC Rusal said. ‘The technical problems of the deal have been resolved, and the quantity isn’t changed.’ However, analysts are not optimistic on the deal, noting Rusal owner Oleg Deripaska has no excuse in buying so many shares as Rusal may not has the ability in taking over the metallurgy company. Meanwhile Prokhorov,the current owner of the share, took the offer from Rusal is too low. The is no immediate comment from Rusal.
