Russia Jan-July aluminium exports at 2.117mln tons

Moscow, Sept 8 (www.cnal.com)—Russia exported 2.117 million tons of aluminium during the first seven months, down 7 percent from the corresponding period last year, according to the data from Federal Customs Service on Monday. Aluminium sales were $4.697 billion in the period versus $4.662 billion a year ago. The country exported 2.101 million tons of aluminium to non-CIS countries in the months, with sales at 4.659 billion dollars. The figures of the same period were 2.27 million tons and 4.644 billion dollars respectively last year.
