CHERYOMUSHKI, Russia, Aug 21 (Reuters) - Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin on Friday ordered his government to prepare a draft decree on the temporary regulation of wholesale electricity prices after a disaster at a hydro dam this week. Putin, visiting the damaged Sayano-Shushenskaya dam, also said construction of an alternative hydroelectric power station in eastern Siberia, Boguchany, must be accelerated after the disaster, which killed at least 26 people. United Company RUSAL, the world's largest aluminium producer, and state-controlled hydro power giant RusHydro are building the Boguchany dam in eastern Siberia. UC RUSAL's main owner and chief executive, Oleg Deripaska, said on Wednesday the companies would "spare no effort" in accelerating the Boguchany project.
