Hong Kong meeting to approval RUSAL IPO now Dec. 7

HONG KONG, Dec 2 (Reuters) - Hong Kong's stock exchange committee has postponed a crucial meeting on whether to approve the IPO plans of Russian aluminium group UC RUSAL until Monday Dec. 7 from this Thursday, two banking sources said. "The committee meeting is delayed until Monday to give the group more time to assess the IPO," one of the sources told Reuters on Wednesday. UC RUSAL cleared a major hurdle in its quest to float in Hong Kong and Paris by agreeing a $7.4 billion debt restructuring deal with around 70 non-Russian banks, separate banking sources said.
