UC RUSAL appoints Mr Igor Makarov as chief legal officer

UC RUSAL announced the appointment of Mr Igor Makarov chief legal officer to RUSAL.

Mr Igor Makarov has nearly 20 years of experience in legal action. During the last 7 years he was a lawyer and partner in the Moscow branch of the international law firm Jones Day with operations in 16 countries across 4 continents. Prior to that, he headed a corporate legal department at TNK BP.

At RUSAL Mr Igor Makarov will be responsible for the comprehensive legal support of the company’s operations to ensure minimization of risks through the best international practices.

Mr Kirill Alexandrov who was heading the legal practice at RUSAL becomes the director of legal at En+ group of companies.
