S.Korea buys 6,000 tonnes of aluminium ingot

SEOUL, Oct 17 - South Korea has bought 6,000 tonnes of primary aluminium ingot, an official at the state-run Public Procurement Service said on Wednesday. Swiss-based commodity firm Glencore [GLEN.UL] would supply 3,000 tonnes of Western aluminium ingot at a premium of $72 a tonne over London Metal Exchange cash prices on a cost, insurance and freight basis. Glencore would deliver another 1,000 tonnes of non-Western ingot at a premium of $64 and LG International , a local trading company, agreed to provide the other 2,000 tonnes of non-Western ingot at a premium of $59.
