South Korea buys 10,000 tonnes of aluminium

SEOUL, April 30 (Reuters) - South Korea has bought 10,000 tonnes of primary aluminium ingot from HiHo Metal for shipping by July 15 to the port of Incheon and Gunsan, the state-run Public Procurement Service said on Thursday. The agency bought 4,000 tonnes of western origin at a premium of $113 a tonne over London Metal Exchange cash prices and 2,000 tonnes of non-western origin at a $103 premium a tonne to the port of Incheon. It also bought 4,000 tonnes of non-western origin metal at a premium of $113 a tonne to the port of Gusan.
