South Korea says seeks 6,000 tonnes of aluminium

SEOUL, Aug 28 (Reuters) - South Korea has issued a tender to buy 6,000 tonnes of primary aluminium ingot for shipping between Oct. 1 and Nov. 30, the state-run Public Procurement Service said on Friday. It is seeking 3,000 tonnes of the metal with western origin to the port of Incheon and another 3,000 tonnes with non-western origin to the port of Gunsan. The tender will close at 1:30 p.m. (0430 GMT) on Sept. 4. (Reporting by Miyoung Kim; Editing by Chris Lewis)
