South Korea buys 3,000 tonnes of aluminium

SEOUL, Sept 9 (Reuters) - South Korea has bought 3,000 tonnes of aluminium ingot with non-western origin from Glencore for shipping between Oct. 1 and Nov. 30 to the port of Gunsan, the state-run Public Procurement Service said. The agency bought the metal at a premium of $118 a tonne over London Metal Exchange cash prices on a cost, insurance and freight basis. (Reporting by Miyoung Kim, Editing by Jacqueline Wong)
