South Korea seeks 5,000 tonnes of aluminium

SEOUL, Sept 10 (Reuters) - South Korea has issued a tender to buy 5,000 tonnes of aluminium ingot for Nov. 30 shipping to the ports of Incheon and Busan, the state-run Public Procurement Service said late on Wednesday. It is seeking 4,000 tonnes of the metal with Western origin to the port of Incheon and 1,000 tonnes of non-western origin to the port of Busan. The tender follows purchases of 6,000 tonnes since last week and will close at 1:30 p.m. (0430 GMT) on Sept. 16. (Reporting by Miyoung Kim; Editing by Jonathan Hopfner)
