South Korea buys 5,000 tonnes of aluminium

SEOUL, Sept 16 (Reuters) - South Korea has bought 5,000 tonnes of aluminium ingot with Western origin from Glencore for Nov. 30 shipping at a premium of $138 a tonne over London Metal Exchange cash prices, the state-run Public Procurement Service said. It said on Wednesday 4,000 tonnes of the metal would go to the port of Incheon and 1,000 tonnes to the port of Busan. Last week, the agency bought the metal at a premium of $118 a tonne.
