SEOUL, Oct 7 (Reuters) - South Korea has bought 4,000 tonnes of aluminium ingot for Nov. 30 shipping, the state-run Public Procurement Service (PPS) said on Wednesday.
Of the total, the agency bought 1,000 tonnes at a premium of $137 a tonne over London Metal Exchange (
LME) cash prices on a cost, insurance and freight (CFI) basis from Glencore and the remainder at a premium of $119 a tonne over
LME cash prices, CFI, from Noble Resources Ltd, an official said.
Of the purchase, 1,000 tonnes was for western origin to the port of Busan and the remainder of non-western origin to Incheon.
