Saudi Arabia to stimulate aluminum production in Gulf region

Saudi Arabia's bauxite ongoing development will greatly promote the production of aluminum of the GCC countries.

At present this production is 350 million tonnes its output is expected to soon account for 25% of world production.

Meanwhile, Saudi Arabia is developing Al Baitha bauxite project in the north with annual output of 4 million tonnes over 30 years.
