LME copper at $5,610/ton, down $20 on London PM kerb but off today's lows, possibly on stronger sentiment after copper bounced off downtrend line overnight, says Hong Kong-based trader. Notes copper can move in either direction at moment but favors upside as metal failed to make new low in past week, should draw support as well from gains in aluminum, nickel, though copper's failure to breach $5,700 capping its gains at moment. "Inside of $5,400 to $5,700, (it's) just range-trade, outside of that, you can follow the direction (trend)."
