MARKET TALK: LME Base Metals Await Follow-Through Sellers

Follow-through selling is expected in the London Metal Exchange base metals ahead of the month end Wednesday as positions are reduced in illiquid conditions, a broker says. Short-term technical sellers will hold sway in the near-term with more bullish participants forced to sit on the sidelines while any selling is absorbed, the broker notes. Momentum will come from near-term sentiment despite a relatively positive outlook in the more medium term, he adds.
