LME plans to isssue additional B shares by mid-Sept

The London Metal Exchange plans to issue additional B shares by mid-September, the exchange said on Monday.

The sub-committee of the LME Board, which was appointed in March, could issue up to 200,000 B shares, the LME said.

The exchange expects to be able to launch the B share outline scheme by the begining of July 2007.
