World aluminium market faces price decrease. Average price for available aluminium on London Exchange (LME) in May amounted USD 2794, in average in June - USD 2747, on June 6 - USD 2715 per ton. At the same time aluminium reserves on LME storehouse decreased by last month from 835 to 831 thousand of tones.
According to International Aluminium Institute (IAI), world aluminium production on January - April 2007 results amounted 8,02 million of tones and this is on 200 thousand of tones more then for the first 4 months of 2006 when in the world there was produced about 7,82 million of tones. According to this information, world stored reserves of primary aluminium grew by the beginning of May by 4,3% comparing to March and arrived at 1,58 million of tones against 1,51 million of tones a month before. Total world aluminium reserves including crow-bar and rolled aluminium increased up to 2,92 million of tones against 2,88 million of tones a month before.
