LME-registered stocks of NASAAC have been trending lower every day for around a month, largely because the last arrivals in the system were back on May 17.
Draw rates remain robust and another burst of cancellation activity yesterday has kept the cancelled pipeline well filled, suggesting no imminent slowdown in “out” side activity.
All the day’s 980t of cancellations came at Baltimore and were split between 760t of large sow and 220t of ingot. The same east coast location accounted for 80t of the draws with Detroit accounting for the balance 160t.
