Administrators prepare to close UK rolling mill

Administrators KPMG have said they have started the process of winding down operations at the Dolgarogg aluminium rolling mill in Wales , UK , after failing to find a buyer for the company. Dolgarrog Aluminium was set up five years ago following a management buy-out of the former Alcoa plant and it is the UK's only integrated casting and rolling aluminium mill. It is also one of the oldest operations in the country. It is 100 years old this year.
