Standard Chartered To Access LME Membership

The London Metal Exchange announced its board has approved membership for UK-listed bank Standard Chartered, which takes effect immediately. Standard Chartered will become a category 4 or associate member broker, which means the bank can issue LME contracts but not clear them or trade on the LME floor trading section.
