Rio Tinto Gove alumina refinery is expected to put into full production by the end of this year

Rio Tinto said its Gove alumina refinery is expected to put into full production by the end of this year. The annual output of this refinery has rose to 3.8m metric ton from 1.8m metric ton. It was scheduled to completed extension in early of 2007. However, till October, when Rio Tinto purchased Alcan, it has only near to finished. Besides purchased Alcan, the increased output of Rio Tinto should be thanks to the extension of Gove refinery.
