Rio Tinto plans to set up a joint venture with Codelco

London, Jan. 24—Rio Tinto said on Thursday it has signed with Codelco to set up a joint venture in Chile to explore copper mine. Rio Tinto said in a statement said according to this agreement they will offer exploration right to this venture and operate by Rio Tinto. Codelco is the biggest copper company in the world.
